The Vincentian Tribute Program
Let the Vincentians pray for you and your loved ones!
You are invited to enroll your loved ones in our ministry of prayer by which they will be remembered at Masses and through daily prayers and offerings by the senior Vincentians priests and brothers of the Midwest Province. Our Vincentian Tribute Program presents an opportunity for you to express your support for a family member or friend on a special occasion, during an illness, or at a time of death.
How appropriate this new ministry should be based at St. Mary’s of the Barrens in Perryville, Missouri. From this historic and holy place, the original motherhouse of the Congregation of the Mission in the United States, generations of priests and brothers have been missioned apostolically. This prayer ministry is simply the latest expression of this ongoing apostolic mission at St. Mary’s.
The program features beautifully-designed prayer cards, which we will send to your loved ones to notify them of your prayer intention. To send a tribute card now, simply click on the ‘Order a Prayer Card Now’ box. Using the online request form, the Congregation of the Mission Midwest Province will assign your prayer to a Vincentian priest or brother – one of the newly appointed “Apostles of Prayer” – who will pray and make spiritual offerings on behalf of your loved one.
Three kinds of tribute cards are available: “In Gratitude to God” for special occasions and special intentions; “Praying for God’s Healing Mercy” for illness; and “In Memory” for those who have died.
To obtain tribute cards for future use, email the development office, contact the Congregation of the Mission Midwest Province office by phone at 314-344-1184, or mail your request to 13663 Rider Trail North, Earth City, MO 63045. You will receive a response envelope with each tribute card. When you mail your response card to the Midwest Province office, you will receive replacement tribute cards for your use. Your voluntary gift will be recognized in the Vincentian newsletter.
