Vincentian Mission in Kenya Includes Job Skills

At St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Kamulu, Kenya, Father Alex Isonga, CM, has started a project to help village women develop skills, such as cake decorating and tie-dying fabric, to support their families. Some of the women who benefit from this effort are HIV positive, making it difficult to care for their families’ most basic needs. Donations from St. Catherine Labouré Parish in St. Louis helped start the project. Read more in the cover feature about the Midwest Province’s parishes in Kenya.
