Society of St. Vincent de Paul Celebrates 175 years!
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul was founded in Paris in 1833. Today, about 650,000 Vincentian volunteers worldwide are involved in this ministry to the poor, which supplies spiritual as well as material support. But the real story is how these legions of laity are deepening their own spiritual lives in their one-on-one efforts to help neighbors in need. See inside for more on the story. |
