Vincentian Connections: A Gathering of Friends
It was a beautiful fall day in Perryville, Missouri, a perfect backdrop for the warm gathering of current and former Vincentians and seminarians who attended a reunion on September 22, 2007.
The event began with a buffet lunch and featured tours of the new residence at St. Mary’s of the Barrens, but the highlight for all was being together on the grounds where many friendships and memories were made.
Kenya Mission Grows
Our work in Kenya continues to blossom. Earlier this year, the Congregation of the Mission celebrated the ordination of Father John Musolo Ochola, CM. He represents the third Vincentian class to be ordained from DePaul Centre in Nairobi. Father Jim Swift, CM, Provincial Superior of the Midwest Province, attended the joyous occasion. Fr. Ochola has been assigned Associate Pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Kamulu, Kenya.
