The second gathering for former Vincentians and seminarians was held at St. Mary’s of the Barrens in Perryville, Missouri on Saturday, September 22, 2007. Father Jim Swift, CM, Provincial Superior, says, “It has been the long-standing desire of the confreres of the Congregation of the Mission Midwest Province to re-establish a connection with our friends from the past. We took our first step with a gathering of former confreres and Vincentian seminarians at Perboyre Mission House in Chicago in October 2006. It was such a success we decided to continue the tradition with a second reunion in Perryville. “We are grateful for everyone’s continued commitment to the mission of St. Vincent de Paul and his charism,” Fr.
