Volunteer OpportunitiesCome join us in service as we strive to follow Jesus Christ, evangelizing the poor in the tradition of Saint Vincent DePaul. Check you local church and diocese for information about the following organizations. Learn more about joining us in service to the poor as a: Priest, Brother, or Seminarian in the Congregation of the Mission Religious Sister with the Daughters of Charity or Sisters of Charity Single or married lay person with the Society of Saint Vincent DePaul or the Ladies of Charity (International Association of Charity) You might also consider applying for a volunteer program with the Colorado Vincentian Volunteers, the Vincentian Service Corps or the Gateway Vincentian Volunteers. The Colorado Vincentian Volunteers, founded in 1995, offers Catholic men and women, aged 22-30, the opportunity to live in a shared community house with 8 to 12 other volunteers and to serve the poor, elderly, homeless, developmentally delayed, and troubled youth of Denver. For information please contact: Bill Jaster The Vincentian Service Corps, founded in 1985 as the Daughters of Charity AIM Program, offers men and women, 20 years old and older, the opportunity to serve the poor, live in community, and experience a simple lifestyle. Gateway Vincentian Volunteers provides young adults with an experience linving in community and working with the poor in the spirit of St. Vincent. It is their goal that by working, praying and living in the spirit of Vincent, these young adults will develop a consuming commitment to improving the lives of the poor and marginalized in our society.
