Archbishop Andrew Bellisario, C.M., of Anchorage-Juneau, Alaska, recently recorded a video on St. Vincent de Paul and the Congregation of the Mission for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Released on Sept. 27, 2026, to coincide with the feast day of St. Vincent de Paul, the video tells of Archbishop Bellisario’s early attraction to the Vincentian charism and the Congregation of the Mission and also offers some historical background on St. Vincent de Paul, the early days of the Congregation of the Mission, and other members of the Vincentian family, including the Ladies of Charity, Daughters of Charity, and Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
