Fr. Guillermo Campuzano, C.M., Vice President of Mission and Ministry at DePaul University in Chicago, IL, on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the Congregation of the Mission by St. Vincent de Paul on Jan. 25 nearly 400 years ago, wrote the following reflection on that founding and how the mission resonates in DePaul University today. DePaul, the largest Catholic university in the United States, is itself celebrating an anniversary in 2023, as it was founded 125 years ago this year.
