Fr. Nahn “Tino” Tran, C.M., Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Patterson, CA, emigrated from his native Vietnam to the United States in 2001. Inspired by his aunt, a Daughter of Charity, and her generosity to pursue a religious life as a Vincentian priest, he lived out his dream and said he is most inspired by working wtih those who have moved away from the Church and helping them return. For those who are considering a religious vocation, he advised “following your heart” and not becoming tethered to expectations.
