Cross Cultural Communication:

Understanding and Appreciating Cultural Difference

by Fr. Dan Borlik, C.M.
Thursdays, May 9 and May 16
1:00 – 2:00 pm (CDT)
Via Zoom
(a Zoom link usable for both sessions will be emailed to you upon registration)

No final exam, No papers to write

Just an opportunity to learn something valuable

This short course will help us understand that no single culture is normative. When we understand how different cultures grasp very different concepts of time and the value of relationships we can begin to appreciate differences rather than be critical of them.

Since priesthood ordination in 1976, Fr. Dan has ministered as high school teacher and dean, as pastor, in seminary formation, as missionary in Guatemala, as teacher of theological reflection and intercultural skills, as provincial leader (“Visitor”), and as program director and instructor in Paris, France, where I lived and worked in our Vincentian “Mother House” (Maison Mère) for about six years, directing and teaching at our “Centre International de la Formation” (CIF).

More courses coming soon!

Register –

Confirmation email will include the course Zoom link; use the same Zoom link for both sessions.
